6 Gains of Installing Window Film

residential window films come into play

Windows play an important role in our home and even buildings and other commercial spaces as they provide our abode with light, warmth, and ventilation. On the other hand, they can also have a negative impact on your home — one of which is the fact that it is where heat and damaging UV rays of the sun pass through. At this point, residential window films come into play.

Some might think that installing window film is an additional expense but what they don't know is that it actually gives a lot of advantages, not only to the house itself but also to the people living inside.

In case you are still having a second thought regarding installing window film to your abode, here are some of the reasons that will probably help you decide.

1. Reduces the amount of heat

Since it always feels Singapore, many homeowners tend to leave their air conditioners on in order to make the temperature inside their home balance. But this results in an increase in electric bills. But with window films, you can be able to keep your house cooler without having to turn on your air conditioning system at all times. This is because solar window film in Singapore, like the ones offered by Infratint, can block up to 80% of heat.

2. Removes the annoying bright light

Isn't it really annoying when the sun shines directly in your face? This happens mostly when you're having a cup of coffee, sitting, or reading beside the window of your home. The good thing is you can be able to enjoy doing any of the mentioned scenarios without being bothered by the annoying bright light through installing window film, which only allows the right amount of sunlight.

Window film has the ability to block as much as 99% of the UV rays, thus effective in protecting your eyes and skin against the harmful sun's rays, at the same time preventing your home furnishings from early deterioration.

5. Increases level of privacy

Privacy is an important thing to many people, and with window tinting, your level of privacy at home can be increased without hassle. Home Window Tint: A Small Addition that Could Save You a Lot of Money

 own a home

If you own a home, you have surely thought of renovating it sooner or later. Renovation is a great way to improve the style and satisfy your comfort and enjoyment. And it is also important if you are considering selling your home on a potential selling price, one of these days, as most buyers would tend to choose purchasing a more energy-efficient home.

However, we can't disregard the fact that home renovation isn't as cheap and simple as some might think. There would be a number of items a designer or contractor might recommend you to add in order to give your abode a new aesthetic look. If you are torn between upgrading your home and saving money in renovation, then it is time to consider one small installation that could help you save quite a lot on home renovation: adding residential window films!

How can installation of window film help you save money on home renovation?

It is a known fact that Singapore is one of the countries that experience hot weather almost all-year-round, which is why it is not surprising that many home owners leave their air conditioning system running in order to maintain a comfortable temperature inside their abode. But let us not disdain the absolute truth that letting your aircon running can take a hefty part of your utility bill. At this point, getting the windows of your home tinted from one of the best providers of solar film in Singapore is a smart step to give your home an improved look while cutting the expenses on renovation.

Window film helps reduce heat gain

Did you know that a higher quality of window tint can block up to 79% solar heat? Yep! This is a good news, especially if your home is directly exposed to sunlight, as you will not resort to using your home's air conditioning system to reduce the heat that is building inside your space.

Window film saves your home interior from early deterioration

Too much heat and UV rays exposure is the main culprits to the early deterioration of your home interior, including the wooden floor, carpet, furniture, etc. Good thing, installation of window film such as ceramic window film can not block both solar heat and detrimental UV rays. This being said can spare you from the expenses of furniture repair and replacement as it extends the life of your furnishings.

Window film doesn't make you house feel dark

While hanging curtains or drawing blinds can minimize the amount of solar heat entering your abode, it can also make your home look and feel dark, which gives you the tendency to turn your lights on — and can consume energy. By installing window films, you can solve your problem about solar heat, as well as glare, inside your abode without making your home feel and look dark as it allows just the right amount of sunlight. Not to mention that window film will not block the beautiful view outside, which you may not be able to enjoy if there's a curtain hanging on your window.

Where to get window film in Singapore?

If you're looking for one of the best providers of either residential or commercial window film in Singapore, Infratint can walk you through!

How Window Film Benefits Migraine Sufferers

 Sunlight

It is a known fact that too much exposure to sunlight can cause harm both to humans and to valuable stuff like furnishings, auto paint, etc. Staying under the broad sunlight without protection can cause sunburns on your skin, which can sometimes, especially if not taken seriously, can lead to skin cancer. But what some don't know is that harsh sunlight is also one of the main factors that can trigger and make existing migraines and headaches worse. As a matter of fact, according to studies, it can only take as little as 5 to 10 minutes of sunlight exposure to trigger a migraine attack.

Why does sunlight trigger headaches and migraine attacks?

Lower threshold for light

If you are one of those who often experience headache or migraine attacks, you might be one of those individuals who have a lower threshold for light, wherein even normal level of light exposure can lead to headaches and migraine symptoms.

Greater sunlight sensitivity between attacks

People can have lower light tolerance between headache or migraine attacks, which makes them more sensitive to sunlight.

Longer duration of sun exposure

Did you know that the longer you stay outside, especially on bright sunny days, the higher the chance of you developing a headache or triggering a migraine attack?

Sun's emission of specific wavelengths — blue light

Another factor that makes sunlight exposure a problem to people with existing migraine is the fact that the sun emits a spectrum of light wavelengths, otherwise known as blue light. This specific wavelength is considered as the most painful color of light for people who have migraine.

How To Protect Yourself from Migraine Attacks?

Stay hydrated

Aside from exposure to sunlight, one of the common causes of migraine triggers is dehydration. So if you are about to stay outside for a long period of time, better make sure to keep yourself hydrated. By this, it is important to always carry a water bottle or tumbler with you in order to regulate your body temperature during hot days.

Avoid peak sunlight hours

As mentioned earlier, people who are prone to headaches or migraines have a greater sunlight sensitivity, so it is advisable to avoid going outside or engaging in outdoor activities in times where the sun's brightness level is on its peak.

Get your window tinted!

If you often drive under the broad sunlight, or usually work or stay near the window, there's a chance of you developing or triggering a migraine attack as you get yourself exposed to both sunlight and heat, which are triggering factors of migraine. One of the best ways to prevent migraine attacks is by getting a car or commercial window film.

Since windows are the main entry point of sunlight and heat, installing a window film, such as a ceramic window film, can reduce a high level of sunlight and heat from penetrating through the glass of your car, office or home. This not only helps you avoid from having migraine attacks but can also save you from the harm of UV and IR rays.

How Window Tinting Reduce the Chance of Headache or Migraine Attacks?

By installing a window film on the glass of your vehicle, office, or home, only the right amount of sunlight can get through your window. Window film has the ability to minimize the tendency of sunlight to reflect and refract on glass surfaces, which, in turn, can reduce developing headache or migraine.

Other benefits of window film

• It prevents furnishings from fading
• It keeps an ideal temperature
• It protects skin from detrimental UV rays
• It provides security
• It strengthens level of privacy
• It enhances the look of your home, car, or commercial building
• It make your windows shatter-proof

5 Ways Window Tinting Can Benefit Your Health

 commercial window film
It is a known fact that installing a residential and commercial window film can excellently improve the look of your abode or property.  At the same time, it helps in lowering your heating and cooling bills, as it keeps a comfortable temperature in your space. But what some people might not know is that window tinting does more than just keeping out of your eyes, in fact, it comes with a set of good things where your health can surely benefit. Here are some that are worth considering, especially if you are thinking about whether or not to install a solar film in Singapore.

Reduce the risk of exposure to harmful UV rays

You might be thinking that staying indoors can spare you from the harm caused by the sun’s UV rays, what you don’t know is you can be exposed to ultraviolet radiation even you are at home. And that is because of the UV radiation can enter through regular window glass. By regular window glass, we mean those that are not yet tinted. And if you think hanging curtains on or drawing the blinds can be a nice alternative, this can have a drawback as it can block great amount sunlight, therefore making your space look dim.

In order to let just the right amount of sunlight inside your home without being exposed to UV rays, installing a solar film is a smart idea.

Trim down the chances of acquiring skin cancer

By enhancing your regular window glass with window tint solution, you are doing your skin a big favor. How? It is because window film can block UV rays from penetrating your home. Too much exposure to UV rays has a high tendency of acquiring skin cancer, not to mention that it can also accelerate the effects of skin aging.

Reduce eye strain

Being in a bright workspace may seem perfect, but this could be not a very good idea, especially if you happen to be sitting near a window where the sunlight passes through. It is because too much sunlight indoor can create glare that makes it hard to see your computer screen. In this case, there’s a tendency of you suffering from eye strain which can then cause discomfort, fatigue, and headache. Thus, your health and even your productivity at work can be affected. Getting a window tint can be a great way to protect your eyes from strain.

Avert autoimmune disease

Research has found that exposure to higher levels of UV radiation in sunlight has the tendency of developing dermatomyositis, an autoimmune disease that concerns the skin. If you or know someone who already has an autoimmune disease, it is important to avoid too much exposure to sunlight as it can only aggravate the symptoms. One of the best ways to prevent this autoimmune disease from developing is by installing a window film, as it is able to reject a great amount of UV radiation.

Cut the risk of dehydration or heat stroke

In a country where it feels like summer almost all-year-round (like Singapore), staying cool is beneficial not to your comfort but to your health as well. Aside from running the air conditioning at home for longer hours, just to keep a comfortable temperature, another thing that can contribute to keeping a cool atmosphere at your abode is by installing a window film. When the environment is cool, the risk of dehydration and heatstroke can also be reduced.

5 Tips that will Protect Your Car from Break-Ins

 Vehicle break-in incidents

Vehicle break-in incidents do not happen only during night time and to luxury cars. As a matter of fact, whether your car is brand new or you have had it for a few couples of years now, either can be subjected to car break-ins. The same thing whether you live in a high-class subdivision or in a resettlement area, there is still a chance that you can be a victim of vehicle break-ins. When? No one can predict. That is why taking precautionary measures is really important.

With that, here are some tips that can hopefully save your vehicle from break-ins.

1. Keep your valuables and belongings out of sight.

Leaving any valuables inside your car, in a spot that can be easily seen, is like drawing the burglars closer to their subject. The moment you leave your car and someone with a bad motive happens to pass by your vehicle and spot some important stuff inside your car, there is a high chance your car can be the next target to break-ins. It doesn’t matter how long you are going to be out of your car. Remember that it only takes about a few minutes for a burglar to break-in and get the valuables or important documents from your car.

But if you can’t help but leave some valuables or belongings inside the car, make sure that they are out of sight. For instance, if you got a trunk, it would be better to put them in the trunk and keep it locked at all times. Also, DO NOT EVER LEAVE CASH BEHIND. It will never be a good idea to leave some bills inside your car.

2. Parking matters ─ make sure to park in secure, well-lit areas.

Of course, if you want to make sure your car will not be a subject to break-ins, it is truly important to check whether or not the parking location is safe. By safe, it means that the parking space is in a high traffic area, in terms of people and vehicles. Also, make sure that the parking area has a lot of light and there are parking attendants. It would be better if you park your vehicle in a spot that is close to your destination, and make sure not to leave your keys inside your cars.

3. Consider getting a security system.

Thieves do not like to catch the attention of people, which is why they are always going for the easiest target. So, installing a high-quality alarm that includes motion sensors, knock sensors, or sirens, in case an unauthorized person tries to get into your car, can actually deter potential burglars.

4. Keep your windows up at all times.

No matter how tempting it is to roll your windows down, it would be smarter not to, especially if you are parked in an unfamiliar place. It is important to remember that even a tiny crack can help thieves to successfully unlock your car and get your valuables.

5. Invest in window tint.

Window film in Singapore is not just ideal for residential and commercial properties because your car needs it! As a matter of fact, car window tinting in Singapore is becoming in demand. Not only does it help in having an instant car UV protection but because car solar film makes a great tool to protect your vehicle against car theft. The dark tint makes it hard for potential burglars to get a view of the car’s interior. Not to mention that automotive film strengthens your car window. In fact, should a burglar try to break into your car, the glass window will not be easily broken since the protective film helps hold the shattered pieces of glass together.

5 Amazing Ways How Businesses Benefit to Window Tinting

commercial window film comes into play. In case you’re wondering how does putting a thin layer of film on your commercial window be of help?

When it comes to window tinting, many assume that it is only applicable for shielding the interior of your residential and automotive from the harmful effects caused by the ultraviolet rays of the sun. What some don’t know is it also offers great benefits to businesses.

Since the operational expenses on many businesses are continually rising in recent years, many business owners are thinking of smart ways on how to cut down the costs. With this, commercial window film comes into play. In case you’re wondering how does putting a thin layer of film on your commercial window be of help? Here are some of the amazing benefits that are worth considering.

1. Create a more comfortable environment for employees

Being an employee whose working station located on a spot where the sun shines and set might seem ideal, not until the glare on the computer screen affects work productivity. While putting blinds and curtains can actually help in blocking the unnecessary light and pesky heat of the sun through the windows, it can, unfortunately, make space a little dimmer, which can be a challenge to those who prefer working in a bright room.

Through installing commercial window film, you can create an ideal working environment with softened light and balance temperature, thus helping to increase the productivity level of the employees.

2. Save you money on energy consumption

Imagine yourself as an employee trying to focus on work while the annoying heat of the sun, penetrating through windows of the office, keeps you from being productive. In order to beat the heat and maintain a comfortable temperature through the working place, running the air conditioning system is the answer. On the other hand, resorting to the use of the HVAC can cause the electricity bill to rise. But with ceramic window film, you can help your company to reduce the utility bill. In fact, window film is not only useful during hot summer for it can also keep the room warm during the colder months.

3. Protect the furniture and equipment from fading

Furniture and equipment are a major investment, however, these valuable properties can easily deteriorate, most especially if not taken care of properly, due to being exposed to the sun’s harmful rays. Instead of having to replace your building’s furniture and other important stuff more frequent, it would be better to invest in commercial window tinting, which not only helps in making your business space look more aesthetic but also helps keep your valuables safe from untimely serious damage.

4. Improve privacy

Every business has confidential files to keep, which are only restricted to the company. Since most buildings have large windows and even glass walls and doors, passers-by can easily have a view of the working space, thus keeping the privacy of the company a bit challenging. The good thing is window tinting can help improve the privacy level of the building, as well as every employee without worrying about restricting the view of the outside.

5. Enhance safety and security

The windows of the building are one the easy way for burglars to penetrate your property. And the moment they successfully get inside is also when you can lose valuable property, even important files. But it will not be a problem when you have window film installed. 5 Best Benefits of Choosing Printed Window Film for Businesses

Creating an ideal working environment is indeed an effective way to improve the productivity level of the employees

Creating an ideal working environment is indeed an effective way to improve the productivity level of the employees. Yet, this seems to be quite challenging as there are several factors that can affect the performance of the member(s) of your staff. The thing is, some of these may look little but are actually the ones that required attention, like the windows of your business or office buildings. Although it is a fact that windows are a great means for brightening up the atmosphere of your workplace, it can also create glare and make your office feel a little bit hot due to the excessive heat passing through the normal glass window. The glare and the uncomfortable temperature can eventually make your employee feel discomfort, thus affecting their productivity.

In a case like this, a commercial window film comes into play. And since there are various kinds of window film available at several providers of window film in Singapore, choosing the right window tint solution for your business or office is important. If you want to make your business recognized while enjoying the great benefits of window film, you might as well opt to install a custom-printed window film.

Why printed window film, you may want to ask? Well, here are some good reasons why you should.

1. It can be used for brand visibility and recognition

For those who want to make their business brand or office look appealing to the potential clients, while keeping it minimalistic ─ without the need of huge tarpaulin or signage, you can instead have a window tinting job with your company name, logo, slogans, contact information, and the like printed on the window film.

2. It can display the product, services, or deals you’re trying to promote

Instead of paying a hefty amount for billboards or other materials just to promote the product, deals or services, you can do endorse your business’ latest deals, promotions, and services by transforming your large office or commercial windows into a billboard? That would be possible with a custom-printed window film!

3. It can secure your company’s assets

Windows, most especially those with clear glass, can give the outsiders a view of what’s inside your office or company. Hence, makes your company’s assets less secure, given that potential thieves can be tempted to break-in. But with decorative or printed window films, you be able to ensure your company’s possessions such as computers, printers, and other high-tech equipment can be unseen from the outsider’s view.

4. It lets the amount of natural light without compromising privacy

Privacy is important to every employee, which is why companies put up cubicles and temporary wall dividers. While this can be a great way to enhance privacy in the company, it can also mean reducing the daylighting in the office. Yet this can have a drawback, especially for those employees who preferred working in a well-lighted workplace. That is why as an alternative for solid cubicle dividers or wall installation, you can opt to install a decorative window film, which lets the natural light flow through the workspace without compromising the employees’ privacy.

5. It can lower the energy costs

Another good thing about window tinting, whether it’s a decorative or ceramic window film type, it is can help lower the energy consumption due to its heat-blocking feature. Although window film installation requires initial expenses, it will pay for itself in the long run. This is due to the fact that you will not be too depended on the use of the air conditioning system in the office, as the window film helps regulate the temperature in your workplace.

How Window Film Helps in Maximizing a Small Space

 WINDOW FILM
Maximizing a small space ─ may it be your bedroom, study room, or office ─ can really be tricky and quite frustrating. This is because you are trying to make your limited space become breathable without compromising its look. With this, lots of thoughts on how you can rearrange the furniture, in a way that it still creates an open feeling, might be running on your head. Aside from rearranging your furniture, there’s a great and unique way to make your small space look decorative without consuming too much space ─ WINDOW FILM!

Window tinting is most known for its energy efficiency feature, given that it drastically reduces solar heat gain through windows, thus allowing a comfortable temperature inside the room. That is why it is no longer a surprise that both residential and commercial window film is becoming in demand these days.

Aside from being advantageous in terms of deflecting heat, window film also provides other great benefits by protecting your skin and furniture against the damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun while reducing the pesky glare.

Whether you’re planning to take full advantage of your small space at home, installing a residential window film is a smart decision that you would surely not regret.

NO MORE CURTAINS, BLINDS OR DRAPES NEEDED

Putting curtains on your windows can help make your abode look and feel homier; however, hanging heavy curtains can also create a suffocating atmosphere in small spaces. The same thing goes with using blinds, despite the fact that it is useful when it comes to blocking the heat of the sun from entering through the window. If you are trying to create a breathable ambiance for your small space, using curtains, drape or blinds may not be a great idea since these can only muddle the window space. Not to mention that they can block the natural light from coming in and obstruct your view out. But with window film, the heat of the sun that penetrates through the windows can be reduced while allowing the natural light to come in.

In addition to creating and maintaining an ideal temperature, installing a residential window film can also increase the privacy and security in your space provided that it allows you to get a view out without them (outsiders) seeing what and/or who’s inside the house.

YOU WON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE GLARE

What’s more annoying than to be bothered by the pesky glare beaming off the TV screen while enjoying a good movie or TV series with the family? This can be solved by window tinting! Not only does window film helps in reducing glare but it also gives protection from the detrimental UV sun rays, which is one of the main causes of deterioration of the furniture.
Since window film lets only the natural light in, you can create a happier and more comfortable environment while creating an illusion of a bigger space. Also, the fact that the window film helps in reducing glare, you can be able to save yourself from eye strain while working in front of your computer screen.

WINDOW FILM SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Sun’s harmful rays can make your furniture fade and deteriorate quickly, not to mention that these rays can also cause skin cancer. Considering adding window film can not only help in maximizing your small space but also conserve your money given that you won’t have to replace your furniture more often. In addition, you can save on your monthly bill since window tinting helps in keeping the inside temperature cool despite the outside weather is extremely hot ─ and vice versa.

In case you’re looking for one of the best providers of window film in Singapore, Infratint provides a range of window film perfect for your office or home’s needs! You may contact us through our customer care hotline 6684 5330 or 9456 0888.

10 Must-Know Terms When Purchasing Window Film

 residential window films
Installing residential window films to your windows is a great way to boost the aesthetic of your home, as well as adding a layer of protection for the whole family ─ and your stuff too. But how deep is your knowledge about window tinting? When purchasing a window film in Singapore, you are bound to come across several terminologies that might lead you to scratch your head as they are not what you usually hear in your everyday life. This can be avoided as we’ll be listing down the terms which can serve as your handy reference for window film.

What is window Film?

It is a thin material, usually made of multiple layers of polyester bonded into a single layer, and treated with reflective coatings to restrict the amount of heat entering from the house, thus helps in saving energy.

1. Decorative Window Film

This kind of film is a perfect alternative to costly stained or etched glass. It gives aesthetic appeal while adding an additional layer of protection for your home windows, as it helps reduce up to 99% of detrimental ultraviolet rays.

At Infratint, a range of decorative window film choices can be enjoyed, including Simglas Series, Rice Paper Designs, Frosted Window Films, and Pattered Films.

2. Security Window Film

As the name tells, this window film is perfect if your top priority is the security of your home, given that it has a thickness that can give mild to moderate glass protection. Security window film increases the amount of force required to break a window, which makes it difficult for burglars to break-in.

3. Solar Window Film

Insulating or solar window film in Singapore is designed to aid in blocking the harmful UV rays of the sun that penetrate through your home windows. It helps to give an ideal temperature inside your abode; it cools a home when it’s hot and warms it when the weather is cold.

4. Mils/microns

It is the most common unit used in measuring the thickness of window film, which equivalents to one-thousandth of an inch.

5. U-Value

You can hear this term when a professional window film installer describes the heat transfer through window film. In every one-degree Fahrenheit difference in temperature, where the window is located, one-square foot of window film is needed.

6. Absorbance

This describes the amount of solar energy retained before passes through a room that has an installed window film.

7. Emissivity

This term correlates to glare and heat reduction. Emissivity is a measurement that tells how a surface reflects radiation or absorbs infrared light. When a glass window is referred to as Low-E, it implies better insulation because the lower the number means the more that the surface rejects.

8. Glare Reduction

It is used to describe the total amount of visible light that the surface rejects. It tends to be the opposite of visible light transmission which is usually in reference to the intensity of sunlight.

9. Visible Light Transmission

Speaking of, the windows are the ones that could potentially leave your home to unnecessary damages. This is why one of the best ways to safeguard your home, including the individuals and the valuables inside it, is with the help of residential window films.

While there are a lot of companies offering window film in Singapore, which can protect you and your interior from the damaging UV rays, getting your windows tinted also makes a very good investment during storm season. Here are how window tinting can make your home protected against the harsh weather.

High winds are one of your worst enemies during a storm, which can possibly break the glass from your windows. With this, you are not only endangering the safety of the people within the home but also the valuable properties.

However, this can be prevented by means of having window film applied to the surface of your glass window, considering that the film is made with multiple layers of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) which give protection against shattering glass.

2. It puts off unnecessary damage from debris

Instead of having a window replacement once the storm subsided, installing a window film just before the storm season is definitely better for it can protect your home from debris, which is known to making your windows susceptible to damage. The damage may not only end with the windows for it can also extend to the valuables, or worst to the people, within your home, should the glass window, unfortunately, was broken.

This is why seeking help from the best provider of window film in Singapore is a genius way to protect your home.

3. It prevents injuries from shattered glass

Therefore, the injuries you can get and/or the damage it can cause to the interior of your home can be prevented.

So when it comes to safety and security, residential window film is one of the best things to consider.

4. It cuts down repairs and saves time in cleaning up

With the high winds, flying debris and so on that, a storm can bring, repairs and cleanup are what you can expect, considering the fact that windows are one of the most at risk spots at home. 5 Advantages of Boat Window Tinting

In addition to a car, another thing that can be a great source of happiness and fulfillment is a boat
In addition to a car, another thing that can be a great source of happiness and fulfillment is a boat ─ which can, sometimes, be a basis of social standing. Just like a car, owning a boat offers both relaxation and adventure. The only difference is the fact that a vehicle with four wheels allows you to navigate on the roads while a boat or a yacht is a great way to explore the beauty of the ocean.
Same as to car, regular detailing and proper maintenance are two important things to take in mind in order to extend the life of the vessel. Speaking of maintenance, window tinting doesn’t just apply to cars, buildings, and home, but also plays a crucial role in giving protection to your floating possession.
As a matter of fact, we’ve rounded up some of the advantages of getting the best window film in Singapore for your boat.
1. Prolongs the fun by blocking the harmful UV rays
Although sailing under the broad sunlight seems to be a great idea, this can somehow spoil the fun considering the fact that no one can stand a long time of being exposed with the harmful rays of the sun. So you will then choose to stay and continue your sightseeing inside the boat. But the problem is the sun’s detrimental ultraviolet rays seem to be following you even when you’re already inside. Which is why getting your boat’s windows tinted is a smart way to continue the fun.
In case you are looking for the best solar film in Singapore which can effectively block around 99% of the UV rays, might as well choose the ceramic window film.
2. Reduces glare, thus improving safety
Sun glare is not just a problem for people who drive a car because this can also be a source of danger and discomfort to those on a boat, most especially to the captain. But with the help of one of the providers of the best window film in Singapore, like Infratint, a problem about sun glare can be avoided. As a result, the chance of having eye fatigue can be lessened while improving visibility. Not to mention that by getting your boat’s windows tinted, the risks of skin cancer and sunburn will also be reduced.
3. Gives privacy and protection
Not all the time will your boat sail on the vast surface of the ocean; you will also need to dock your vessel at some times. By having your boat docked, ensuring its privacy and security surely is one of your top priorities. While you can’t be able to watch and guard your floating vehicle at all times, window tinting can do the work of protecting the valuables kept inside the boat.
4. Maintains a cool and comfortable atmosphere inside
Given that you are exposed to the broad sunlight every time you go sailing, getting inside the boat is your only resort to escape the pesky heat coming from the sun. This is one of the main reasons for installing a protective film on the windows of your boat is important. With window tinting, up to 70% heat of your boat’s cabin can be trimmed down.
5. Helps save money
Window film is a smart way to reduce the heat of the sun that tries to penetrate through the windows. That being said, relying on the use of the air conditioning system will also be lessened. Not to mention that sudden expenses in case your boat’s windows get cracked due to strong wave crashes (and other factors) will also be prevented.
If you own a boat or know someone who has a vessel that needs to be taken care of the right way, getting a high-quality window film ─ either solar or ceramic window film ─ is crucial. In case you need a quotation about the window film in Singapore, Infratint can walk you through, just reach us through our customer care hotline at 6684 5330 or 9456 0888.

5 Great Ways Restaurants Benefit from Window Film

 window film in Singapore
Before the appetizing menu, the first thing that will definitely catch your attention when it comes to choosing the restaurants to dine at is definitely the ambiance ─ whether it has the ability to entice you. That’s why most store owners, in various lines of business, are investing time, effort, and money just to make their business look appealing to the eyes of every customer. With this, the “first impression lasts” concept applies.

Just so you know, one factor that plays an important role in making your business, a restaurant for example, attention-grabbing is through having a commercial window film. If you’re a store owner, whether you have just opened a local restaurant or have been in the industry for quite a long time, and you haven’t considered getting a window film in Singapore, here are some of its benefits that will definitely entice you to have one soon.

1. Keeps a comfortable temperature

In a country with a tropical climate like Singapore, keeping ourselves cool is quite challenging. This is why one of the things that most of us look when dining somewhere is whether the spot has a great air conditioning system. The thing is since most restaurants are designed with large floor-to-ceiling windows, it is truly a struggle to maintain an ideal temperature inside, given that about 30% of the energy used to keep the interior cool is lost through the windows. But by having a solar window film in Singapore, the problem can be solved. Isn’t it customer satisfaction is one of the top priorities of every store owner?

2. Controls the sun glare

To have a seat beside the glass window of a restaurant may seem perfect since you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery. On the other hand, this could also mean having to deal with the pesky sun glare until you finish your food or when you are done doing business to someone. In order to keep your customers feeling comfortable about the food, service, and the environment of your restaurant, installing a ceramic window film ─ known as the high-quality type of solar window tint ─ would be perfect.

3. Creates an ambiance of privacy

Although the movies and books have created an ideal (and romantic) setting of dining in a restaurant with glass walls, in reality, there are some are not comfortable with this kind of idea. Well, the thought of being watched by passers-by while you eat or converse with someone is actually bothersome. However, by installing a commercial window film, this will never become a problem. As a matter of fact, adding a window film can give people (diners) a sense of privacy, given that people outside the restaurant cannot see them through the windows are made of glass.

4. Gives safety and security

While there are a lot of unlikely incidents that we can’t control, such as a drunken man trying to throw something on the window, which can cause harm to the customers, using a window film made from high-quality materials like of Infratint’s is a great way to keep them safe and secure. Given that the window film is designed using heavy-duty polyester is an assurance that the glass will not easily break should there be a window-smashing incident.

5. Blocks harmful UVA radiation

In addition to the heat, the sun also emits ultra-violet rays that can be notably harmful, as a matter of fact, UVA radiation is one of the leading cause of skin cancer. So to save your customers from the harm the sun could bring, it would be better to install a quality window film that can effectively block the detrimental rays from the sun.
